Well.. thats what the link said anyway. Judging by the dates this boat was in service.. i'd say, yup, this was the Last Fleetboat.

wiki article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Razorback_(SS-394))
A balao class, launched in 43, commissioned in 44, decomissioned from the US navy in 1970 (good greif!), then RECOMISSIONED in the Turkish navy ini 1971, and decommissioned in 2002!!!
How's that for a well built and maintained boat! I think it says something about the quality of the fleet type submarine to have had one in service for so long, from 1944, to 2002!

North Little Rock is two hours away from my home town. My best friend and I kept planning a trip last summer...never made it, as the excursion was cursed with the 'let's wait and get more people' idea.
Going this summer even if I go alone.

Interesting pictures in that link. Looks like she was a Guppy conversion.
According to Wikipedia there is a Tench Class sub, the Cutlass, that was still in service a year ago.

On 4 December 1973, she was sold to the Republic of China (Taiwan) where she was commissioned in the Republic of China Navy as ROCS Hai Shih (SS-791) (meaning "sea lion"). As of mid-April 2007, Hai Shih is still in service.

Very possible the USS Diablo is still in service. I can not confirm this as she was sold to another country.

Diablo from wiki:
Ghazi served during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indo-Pakistani_War_of_1965) until she was lost in the 1971 war (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indo-Pakistani_War_of_1971) with all hands on 4 December (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/December_4) 1971 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1971) just inside the outer channel buoy at Vishakapatnam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vishakapatnam). India states that the destroyer INS Rajput (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=INS_Rajput&action=edit&redlink=1) destroyed her with a depth charge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depth_charge) attack; Pakistan states that she was destroyed by one of the naval mines (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naval_mine) she was lying in the harbor.
I remembered she was sunk in foriegn servies, just not which navy.
Taiwan has a Balao and a Tench class, Guppy II conversions.

Well, the Razorback for sure has the most years of active service of any of the museum boats.
The Clamagore is the "newest" Balao class museum boat in terms of launch date (February 25, 1945), but I don't think she ever saw combat in WWII like the Razorback.
The Becuna was launched 3 days after the Razorback. I'm not sure what the "Last Fleet Boat" is referring to.
