Nice diagram if you ever wanted to know the inside of a MC.
German Type XIV, WWII submarine, 1940 (D). The XIV supplied fluel to other submarines and was thus called a milkcow

I always wondered if the captains and crews of these boats considered themselfs as underdogs of the U-boat arm, they served under the U-boats but with only 1 torpedo as defence and no deckgun they could not do anything and thus they had no change on sinking any shipping. Would one see their commission on a boat like that as a degradation??

Nice One Laufen :up: And USN Fleetboats scuttled their boats when out of Fuel. Whoa to U.S. taxpayers back then. :rotfl:
