They banned the dyeing of all animals in several American states because of the dyeing of Easter chicks and rabbits.

Strange how a christian practice has become so removed from it's origins.

In Iran, coloured chickens to celebrate a Christian holiday? Big event there, I guess. I can hardly wait to see how they celebrate Hannukkah...

Out side of Israil, Iran has the largest Jewish population in the middle east. ;)

Lettum - No doubt, but it does seem rather incongruous for Easter chicks to be sold in a pretty strict theocracy. Somebody must celebrate Ramadan in Rome, too, I guess...
