Better make sure it works on XP/Vista before getting it. I borrowed European Air War from a friend few week back and as it used Direct3D, didnt work on my XP rig.:cry:

I played it heavily back in 1993 / 1994, along with its oldest brother "Aces of the Pacific"
One of the first SVGA sims (pre 3D graphics, of course).
Now totally oudated, but the memories...
Own it but never played it. It came in the "Aces collection" pack, and I think it can be run with DOSBOX, but never tried :hmm:

Now that's a GREAT game I have loved for years. :D It runs well under Win XP, however any Nvidia Geforce 7xxx and higher has a driver problem with it, you are probably getting the "error 7127" message, right?
I believe there is a fix for it (Not perfect....), look for it in SimHQ forums.

THANKS!!! Yes, it's a great game! IL2 is based on it, you can see lots of similarities between the two... except IL2 has messed most of them.
