SH4 Uboat Addon
TMO
TMO Sp1
RSRDC for TMO
CBS Radio Mod

I've had issues whenever I resume from a long pause in gameplay ie hitting esc and coming back an hour or so later.
Examples are:
CO2 not purging on surface
Crew not resuming from silent running
Damage Control doing zip

So far I am very unimpressed with 1.5. :down: Guess I'll have to wait 6 months or so for the patches and mods to get it sorted.

From what I can see, you're missing the button on the stedimeter that sends the data to the TDC. It should be at the stedimeters 10:30 on the outside rim. It appears you are in the observation scope?? I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

I'm playing stock 1.5 with just the ROW mod and I have the send data button. Off hand I would say it's the mods. Trying removing them, verify the send data button is there, then reinstall them one at a time and see which one removes it. Supposedly there is a correct order in which to install mods. Good luck.

Edit: Here's another thought, are you playing with manual targeting turned on or off?? Possibly with it turned off the buttons are removed?? Just a thought.

I've played both ways, and definitely the buttons aren't there when manual targeting is off. However, it would automatically transmit the data for any target that's in the crosshairs. If the weather is bad, beyond the "visibility" distance it won't register. I can't tell if the blackness of the scope is because it's night/storming or if that's the problem.

Quite right about the scope being black - it was not raised. I just took the screenie to show that the buttons were missing.

I have never used auto targetting, I've always used manual as I like to play 'full real'. So it may be that the difficulty was switched to auto targetting somehow. This problem and the associated CO2 and crew problems happened after I had paused the game for a while. I now avoid long pauses and I have not had a repeat.

SH4 has a "problem" with realism settings. There is only one set of settings for the entire game (single missions or career, American or German). So every time the settings get reset (like when you start a new career), all settings get reset.

So, it has nothing to do with the "pause" you mentioned.

(yeah, I know, it sucks!)
