Patrol log to add via SH3 Cmdr Editor

JScones' terrific patrol log editor plugin for SH3 Cmdr (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=133102) has prompted me to start keeping a better log so that I can copy in entries. I used to keep notes, mainly on intercepts and attack plotting. So I cooked this up:

:up: Cool. I certainly hope players find the new patrol log editor plug-in useful.

When I get back to playing SH3 I'll start recording comments mid-patrol in Notepad or Excel and will use the new "Import" function to automagically add them to the patrol log after I dock.

I might even save the game just before docking so I can easily grab some of the in-game messages from the .crp file (like weather reports) and paste straight into the log.

Jaesen, that sounds like a very useful feature to add to the Patrol Editor plugin! :yep:

By that I mean having buttons to click that will load up the current or last completed patrol crew reports and radio messages files in a new window or Explorer type pane so you could highlight and paste or drag 'n' drop the text entires you wanted from those files into the main editor window or pane.

You could even do that with old patrols by simply loading the appropriate files from the proper patrol folder for your kaleun's career. :know:

Well, duh! You're the resident expert on those things. I have a tendency to be pedantic when I'm illustrating an idea. :roll:
