Well it was stormy...
well.. it was raining like all angles had drunk too much beer and needed ... well you get it...
well... sight was less than 500m
well... balz had found a convoy in this mess and you know him!
Shooting blind is not a big deal for Balz... but this time he broke the record... he sunk a DD without using one torp! Withou shooting one round of AA... no! Even without sending one shot of his DG at it.
He just blocked its way :lol: :
" Bernard! Where the heck is the boy?! Once you need him... he's gone!"
... grabs a crewman:
"Have you seen Bernard?"
"Ja, Herr Kaleun! He is at the soundroom talking to the sound officer"
A deadly smile ran off Baltz face... "not again"
".... and then you pin the DD and wait for the response. The one with being cloer to the time bet wins" Baltz he heard Bernard as he rushed there... but just before he could garb his hand pulling it away from the button:
"see?"

"BERNARD!"
suddenly the sound officer starts yelling: "Zerstörere läuft an!"
Baltz get's hes tea cozy and starts his unspeakable mind....
"Can we evade?" "Too fast Herr Kaleun!"
"Can we shoot it?" "We can'T even see it!"
"Open tube 1 and 5! If I can hear it I can shoot it!"
...
....
"there it is..."
"Fire tube 1!"
"Torpedotreffer!" YEAH!
... the sound officer taps Baltz on the shoudlder..."err.... that was Trampdapfer... Herr Kaleun" :oops:
"Turn hard backboard!"
"The DD is closing! Herr Kaleun"
"Lemme hear!..

Argl... very close... turn Starboard at once! Rise the boat! to 7m. I'll show them"
now the sound of the screws were hearable within the boat as the DD was closing in.
Just then the boat's tower broke the survace as the DD ran over it at full speed!
A nasty creaking cracking sound as the tower was shreddered.
"Tower completely lost sir!" the Mechanic annonced
"So what!" Baltz snapped!
"That dumbass just sliced up his belly on our Obs.Scope!!! Hootchi-Woochie time!"
5min later we heard the sound of the sinking DD.
"But sir.. wihout scopes and radar and..... WE ARE BLIND AND DEAF!" the Radioman shouted.
"Don't panic son! I can shoot a target anytime!"
