What a waste of money and looks.

Why anyone would voluntarily inject a neurotoxin protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum is beyond me.

It paralyzes muscles by blocking the release of acetylcholine.

What wicked vanity would cause someone to deliberately mess with how their body functions just for some temporary cosmetic results. In my opinion, it would take a awfully shallow vapid person to consider this.

People get old. We really need to accept this.

Normally I would agree, but I don't particularly blame Kidman or many actresses for trying to stop the aging process. She isn't much of a character actress, she's a romantic lead. When ladies in Hollywood start getting into their 30s and beyond, they start having serious career issues.
If all you know how to do is act as a romantic lead, and you start noticing lines on your face, expect to be out on the streets of Hollywood fairly soon. Unless you can start acting like Helen Mirren or Laura Linney, there's simply no work to be had.

I just don't want this (http://commentisfree.guardian.co.uk/nick_angel/2007/08/my_daily_hell.html) happening to you ;)
For four weeks, I would read nothing but the Daily Mail. As well as 28 days of unadulterated Daily Mail, I would give up all other sources of news - TV, radio, and internet as well as newspapers.....
....As the days and weeks went on, I started to feel that the world was a seriously menacing place. It wasn't just bubonic plague and mass malnutrition; danger was to be found in everyday household objects. "Found side-by-side, the couple executed by their mower," ran one ghastly headline. iPods stop your pacemaker working. Supermarket basil contains salmonella. Garden hoses induce Parkinson's disease

Reminded me of how "air fresheners" work.

They dont actually remove smells, but are actually nerve agents that kill off your senses, so you don't detect the smell for a while.
