I think you guys better search each post to eliminate this issue for the last 30 days.
I will let you guys know if I find any other post with this issue.
Also if anyone sees this do a Virus scan and a Spybot scan.!
Thanks

Well I'm holding off on SH3 mod forum till this issue gets resolved. Last one was in [WIP] Empress of Britain Liners post damb thing put 7 virus in my system. I clean it and they were low level but darn pain. Neal cleaned the guys sig which seems to be the corruption.:smug: I think someone is declaring war on Subsim. Men load the torpedos and get our U-boat out. Its hunting season!:arrgh!:

It's only pages 1 & 3 of that thread that has the popup.;) I suspect a hotlinked image/smilie is the cause and probably it unintentional by the user, it's just that the site hosting the hotlinked image has been compromised.
Funnily enough, that thread has already been sanitised once by CCIP.

Ok, guys, calm down :) there is no virus or script, this is someone using a stupid server (http://www.siteadvisor.es/sites/skandalshirt.com/) to host his sig picture, that wants you to log in to see the image.
We tested this site and didn't find any significant problems. (http://www.siteadvisor.es/sites/skandalshirt.com/)

yeah, something like this. I will find out who has the sig image and purge the image from the post.
EDIT: It was urfisch, he edited the post and removed the linked images but they were appearing in a quote by nvdrifter.
If this keeps happening, I'm going to have to block those who use that image hosting service. There is no danger to t he viewers but the popup is annoying.

I saw that a few times, just click the (X) and move on. In other words don't panic.

Ok, I went in the database and deleted 29 posts that were using that image host. You should not see it again, unless someone uses it in a future post. Let me know.
thanks
Neal
