Mission Editor

I am either missing something on the install of SH4 or I don't know how this editor works, which I will concede I don't.
I have the editor in my folder, and I can open it but it is not like any editor I am familiar with-DW,SC,688i, Fleet command. Is there someplace aim suppose to go or are there any instructions for it?
