Hi guys

Been playing SH3 GWX1.3 - 2 for quite some time now :D
GREAT WORK GUYS

So to fully enjoy this game have upgraded PC over a few months

1st
Installed 2x 1GB RAM (total 2x 500MB + 2x 1GB)
Game = Great improvement

2nd
PSU was upgraded from 200W to 450W
Game = No great improvement but PC handles it better

3rd
Decided my Nvidia 6200 Turbo was next on hit list so replaced with shiny new Nvidia 8600GT
Game =This is where it gets really annoying

Loads Sh3 GWX2 to selection screen
If I pick "Career" it loads until last 10% of game then ....
Blue Screen of Death with varying messages like
IRLQ not less or equal
Nv4 dll
Kernel Data not found

If I load single mission or academy.....gameplay is BRILLIANT

My other games (Il2 1946 run on Perfect...CoD CodUo CoD2 require a little tweaking but great)

Installed latest drivers etc to no avail

Help PLEASE

Thanks

Usually, this is caused by residual files from an old driver set. Follow nVidia removal instructions and/or use the driver removal tool. Reboot, Reinstall the latest drivers.

In this instance, you may have been given a message (during install of the card) saying "The file you are attempting to install is older than the version currently in use" Do you wish to overwrite the newer version?" ALWAYS answer yes.

I have an 8600GT and the game runs bootyful for me, so don't worry that you have an incompatible video card! Just follow danlisa's instructions and all will be well:|\\

Nv4 dll? Isnt it Nvidia display driver? It still seems like some kind software conflict. I had same problem with my sound card drivers, random blue screens, had to roll back (!) drivers...
