I'm slowly getting it, actually I played it a few days when I bought it sometime last year but I played with almost all the available visual cheats (real "physics" though), now that's a different story. You guys are gonna have fun :|\\

We have all the "visual cheats" on except for icons on enemy/friendly planes and you cant use the CTRL+F1 "guncam" view.

Short? How can I make a short video of almost 2h of footage with most of our fights lasting for 5-6 minutes? :rotfl:

Maybe I just take 6mins worth of screenshot and put them all together. That would be the best solution, I think. The flight lasted for 1h 47minutes last night, multiply that by 2 or 3 as I cant watch anybody all of the time so I need to watch it few times to get everyone's fights recorded.

LOL, I'm not a new or "bad" pilot, but pilot and combat pilot are two very different matters :p Now I have to figure how to really avoid getting shot at too often and eventually get myself in a position where I do the shooting :lol:

My best advice is to record a track from your online dogfights, then look how the other's fly. Follow them around, listen when they throttle up/down, when deploy flaps and how much etc. etc.

Oh and a big NO-NO while being chased is to move horizontally from side to side. Alot of ppl use this (including me at times), in hopes to mess the enemy's aim, but if the enemy has any idea what he is doing, he keeps his plane flying straight and wait for you to cross his aim to take the shot.

Unpack it to your IL2 folder to a folder named records. The launch IL2, from the main menu pick play track, pick the track you want to watch and change the settings to your liking from the switches on right, up = on down = off.

No worries. Me and Mik had a blast. Hes getting better. Had some good turning duel's in the hurricane.

The main problem is that he reverses his turn, which means I've got the perfect shot. If he had kept turning, he would have crossed inside my turning circle, negating the opportunity for me to shoot. He is getting better though, one shot hit my engine and sent me down to a fiery death!

It's a punk-rock, band with one of the greatest lyrics ever, typical finnish ones, very dark and melancholic. Most of their are more of a humorous ones, but for example 'Suomi on Sun' (Finland is yours), made for the veterans of the Winter- & Continuation Wars. The singer, is one of the most patriotists ppl I've seen in Finland, very touching lyrics.

That was a nice flight... atleast from the Luftwaffe point of view. :p The RAF was pretty outnumbered in all 3 missions, I think the only losses for LW were in the 2nd mission. :hmm:

The campaign should be balanced, but like Hunter said, they've had quite a big losses in the earlier missions. And DCG keeps tracks on losses which will be patched on the next day.

I mostly put up my private IL2 server around 22.00 GMT+1
when people are up for a flight ofcourse, if not I can be found on the BFS UK Dedicated Servers (www.battle-fields.com (http://www.battle-fields.com))

they got good servers for everyones joy:
