Anti Aliais tips??

I cant seem to AA well
granted i have a Radeon card, but it's a DX-10 card (2600xt with 512 mem and the superclock option).

when I use even lowly 2x AA with adaptive in multi sample mode it drops me from 50fps to around 25-30
a 20 fps rate ht is this normal?? also, everyhting appears really fuzzy? is this nromal as well.

are their tweaks?
ps. I installed the lates Catalyst control and drivers last night

What are your system specs? Usually I can run 8X AA and still get a good 60 FPS. But I have an 8800, so im not sure how the Radeon performs.

I have the same problem with my HD3870 X2 1Gb with the Catalyst 8.3 drivers.
I am running SH4 with TMO. I get around 35/40 fps on the surface and about 20 underwater with 2x AA. If I go above that it turns into a slideshow...
Maybe it's because I'm running it at 1920x1200x32? :-?

i tried the 8.3 drivers with my crossfired 3850 512's ...ran like crap...went back to 8.2

I'm getting acceptable frame rates with 2X AA on my 1950. If you can suffer with lower rez you'll recover some of those frame rates.
