I am stuck in Osaka Bay with a VERY SLOW running game( even reset graphics to the lowest setting) and in real time, it is taking hours to do and thing as it moves in a studder jerking fashion. Some said the bay is filled with ships and thus way to much info fo the game to run at smooth speed. My rig is one year old and runs the game at FULL MAX graphics other than this mission to photograph OSAKA BAY.

From others I hear this is well knowen but has not been FIXED by UBI ( the norm I guess).

How can I SKIP this mission!!!

The came is going well other than that.

Thanks for your input.

Just return to your home port and end patrol. Along the way, you are free to hunt all you want - you do not have to complete any mission objective. Just ignore it, and go do what you want (where you want) until you get low on fuel or run out of torpedoes. Then go home and end patrol. You will have to put up with the sluggish performance until you get out of rendering range of Osaka harbor though.

P.S. if you always ignore mission objectives in a stock game, eventually you will get retired to a desk. But the photo missions, IMO, are no fun anyway, and basically just a pain in the butt. That's the nice thing about the big game play mods - they dispense with the photo recon missions.

I'll try just hunting then return to Pearl.

What mods are you speaking of that do not have the photo missions ( one felow wrote that it took him hours to complete--- pain in the unowhat)? I play at about 60% now the complex aspects befuddle me some what.

I have no trouble hunting, stalking, and shooting though. After one refit I came in with 345,170 tons on my first patrol.
