I've just tried to contact him through PM, but his inbox is full. He was last online on the 24th of January. I don't even want to think about the worst possibilty there is, it would be a shame if we lost yet another great modder much too soon.
I'm hoping for the best and that he was just put off by his constant conflicts with the GWX team, and nothing more.
