It was a war comedy in black and white

and it's taking place in the pacific during WWII

This young guy gets all his infor about the japs movement and so on, from a talking goat(I think it was)

And every time he tells that to his superior, they send him to the madhouse.

anyone knows hwhat movie that is?

There was a pretty corny (but funny) series (1950-1956) of movies with Francis the talking mule.

The plot in all the movies was the same. Francis tells Peter Stirling (played by Donald O'Connor) some thing special and no one believes Peter.
