I have just replaced my old Nvidia 5700 Graphic Card for the Nvidia7600GT 512MB AGP Graphic so that i can play SH4
Can anybody tell me how to set up in the Bios ie "Graphic Adapter
32mb, 64mb, 128mb, 256mb, or 512mb"
As i am getting a Multi coloured screen after loading game via DVD and then getting a CTD
Works OK with older Games

I think you have to hit the F2 key when booting up to get to your BIOS. There you can adjust the aperture. But what do I know, I dropped out of kindergarten.:yep:

Yeah press F2 or for my PC i have to press the DEL key for the Bios to show up. Its been a long time since ive been in there but you need to look for First Display or something simular in your case it could be called just 'Graphics Adapter'? Then use the arrow keys to change the mb to 512mb.

Hi Stev1, I hope you get this working and if you do please post how, because I have a friend with the same gfx-card, having the same problem and we tried alot of funky stuff, changing drivers, directx, bios, but we couldn't get the game to work with his setup :damn: My first thought was it was the intro videos, you can try go to your "SH4/data/movies/" and rename the 2 wmv files and see if you can get past the loading screen? Maybe it's something with the codecs for the videos..?

GSpot (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/) (wonderful name ain't it:lol: ) is an excellent tool for determining if you have the codecs required to play a particular video. I just tried it with the stock intro video and it came back with WMV3 as the codec, but "codec status undetermined" for my system (I don't have any problems with the vids, though).

I believe you need the latest Windows Medial Player to help with the intro movie issue.
