What do you think?

I didn't see anything I want in 1.5 given that I am playing SH3/GWX.

However, I am wondering if I am going to need to get 1.5 to enjoy future Pacific mods just because it will become the new standard.

What do you think?

Ducimus has made quite clear it's the end of the road for his work on Trigger Maru. He said he is not updating it for 1.5.

Actually, Ducimus just mentioned that he plans on making a 1.5 version, and a 1.4 version. I imagine that most mods are going to split like that for a while... and if the turnout for the add-on is great enough, they'll focus on the add-on. *shrug*.

Most mods will have a 1.4 and 1.5 version to start with, but at only $10 as a download, you'll probably see everything go to 1.5 after a few months.

Yeah, I agree, 1.5 will probably standardize.

Besides, they're only asking $10 to continue supporting the game.

$10....2 packs of smokes, 3 beers in a bar, 3 gallons of gas, the price of a T-bone steak in the supermarket, 2 Starbucks frappuchinos... or the continued development of the Silent Hunter series. :hmm:

1.5 will become standard in time. Unless there is a 1.6 of course :p

Agree. 1.5 is the new 1.4. I downloaded it yesterday. Great add on, especially for the interface enhancements.
