Hi,

1. My GWX install seems weird. Using SH3, GWX, and SH3 commander. Starting a career at the very begining of the game, september 1939, 2nd flotilla, type VIIb boat. Had 4 patrols already and did not encounter a single axis, allied, or neutral ship or plane. The ports are empty, and that includes even scapa flow and wilhelmshaven. went to every major shipping lane and naval base stated in the map. Is something wrong here? The single missions work perfectly fine, though, and so does a separate install of stock SH3. But I want GWX, not stock career.

2. Multiplayer works, but when I try to create my own mission, regardless of lan or internet, it says something like "mission parameters failed. Change parameters or try again later"

Any hints?

If the ports are empty then you don't run GWX. I would suggest you uninstall it and reinstall it again as clearly there is something wrong with your installation.

What port are you starting from and have you enabled either the Black Sea or Indian Ocean campaign files? If you have done the latter then you need to start your career in a port in either of those theatres whcih means also means not in 1939. If you want to play in 1939 from a German port then you need to disable the campaign files in JSGME or enable the merged campaign files.

You shouldn't need to reinstall unless you have not enabled one of the two optional campaigns.

I knew I could trust my fellow subsimmers for help. Thanks guys...

Yes, I have enabled the mediterranean and far east campaign files. I started from wilhelmshaven in sept. 1939, using windows xp professional, 32-bit edition.

I'll disable the campaign files, roll back Sh3 commander, and start again. Thanks for the info.

ALARRRRRMMMMM!!!!!

This order:

1) Roll back SH3Cmdr, then
2) Disable Black Sea/Indian Ocean Campaign Files.

Then reload via Cmdr.
