Frankly, the minefields are boring. There's an easy way around them in the North Sea, but not in the Adriatic. Is there some way to turn them off or navigate through them without having to dodge and weave 75 times? Thanks.

Probably not.
This is just the sort of refinement that the devs will have left out. SOF unfortunately has its fair share of bummers. :-?

the minefields are referenced from external text files stored in the scripts folder..

you can edit their density and even remove them entirely by editing these files

here's an example

#Minen Otranto
AddMineField 18.700, 40.258, 18000, 2
AddMineField 19.160, 40.293, 18000, 2

this is the one i think is used in the med section of the campaign..?

anyhuw what you do is to delete the two minefileds..so it reads like thus

#Minen Otranto

alternatively you can edit each individual campaign mission script

open them up with notepad and look for these entrys

*SDensityMM
*POtranto
*MOtranto
*PMalta

deleteing the
M
entrys

will remove the minefields from the mission...

#Minen Otranto Or you can simple comment them out just for the case you want to reactivate them later:

#Minen Otranto
#AddMineField 18.700, 40.258, 18000, 2
#AddMineField 19.160, 40.293, 18000, 2
