OK, fellow Kaleuns... we have a bit of a problem with Bernard, right?

Well, let's discuss how we'll get rid of him.

I reckon we strap him to a torpedo, fire it and hope it hits a destroyer or a cargo ship or something. If not, then... oh well.

So, what do you want to do to Bernard??

No, because he would probably want to come back inside, and steer the fish back towards you, sinking you! :rotfl:

Would be nice if we could do anything at all...but alas...I am afraid we are stuck with him...just like we are stuck with JS Balz...

Bernard's like Gilligan or Inspector Clouseau. His inherent incompetence will rise to his defence in some bizarre way you if you try to remove him. :p

I already replaced him:smug:

Bernard is a force of nature. Even if you could kill him there would be another one waiting for you tomorrow.

As for what we should do with him:

Put him in the scuppers with a hose-pipe on him,
Put him in the scuppers with a hose-pipe on him,
Put him in the scuppers with a hose-pipe on him,
Earlye in the morn-ing!

Well...let's say he was a spy for the British. Just tell BDU and let them execute him!;)

If that doesn't work just shoot him in the head, get a big rock and chain him to it then throw him overboard.

Hey, Steed may drive me crazy, but he also did me the single greatest favor anyone here has done...well, except maybe joegrundman's help with matching up the U-jagd mod with 6 Dials Simfeeling, and Lehman looking into some things, and...well, still, Steed knows what he did, and I thank him for it.

Bernard is everything inside everything outside everything. He is the little piece of refuse left over after you flush. He is the cigarette inside the beer bottle you drink. He is the torpedo duds that you have perfectly shot. He is the ...

In an ideal world we would be able to sack Bernard from U-boat duties and give him indefinate shore leave, but sadly this wil not happen. My own solution is to stick him in the rear torpedo tube when leaving harbour and not let him out until I return to port. This give me the option to fire him at the enemy, but he always finds his way back to port:damn:
