I've suggested to some people with a hole in their chin that saranwrap or shrinkwrap does wonders for this situation.

I used to have a vast network of those crazy straw parts you used to get in cereal packets stuck to my desk, so I put the glass of whatever a fair distance away, but could still drink from it :88)

I think you need to take a college re-fresher course in basic drinking.
1. open mouth
2. pour drink slowly into mouth.
3. close mouth
4. swallow

This room is a music room.. let me illustrate...
http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/5767/img0823tk0.jpg
A couple years ago, I was working on some tunes. I took a break, and then came back... with a nice brim filled cup of coffee with cream and sugar. I then proceeded to trip over my own feet and the cup went flying... right onto the keyboards and then onto the computer desk and into the computer keyboard. :o
I never thought that a single cup of coffee had so much liquid in it. Coffee was literally EVERYWHERE on the walls, cieling, on and IN my precious synthisizers...
Luckily none of the synths were ruined (Although I DID have to take some of them apart to clean the stickiness out of the inside). All and all, I was lucky. From that point on, I NEVER.. NEVER... let any drinks get in here without at least being in one of those spill proof coffee containers.

Indeed. I once let a small glass of milk fly off my hand into the wall and couldn't believe the size of the mess it made.

Think yourself lucky it wasnt something like a Korg Triton or Oasys :dead::dead:
I spilled some beer on my mouse a month ago or so, and since then it has caused the mousewheel to frak up periodically, to the effect where all of a sudden it acts as if it's tilted to the right. This sends me into fits of frustration, which ends up with me banging the mouse violently against my desk until it works again.
Shame, since it's a good G5 laser-mouse too. I've opened er up, but I've found nothing which I can fix.

Have been doing that a lot lately due to 'problems' and the tower is in great kicking distance.
