Hey, I just bought wolves of the pacific today and was just wondering if I could get a bit of advice on what graphics mods would be the best to make the game look as pretty as possible. I'm not going to fiddle with the gameplay just yet until i get a feel for the stock, but it'd be good to start up with the best looking stuff. is there anything i need to do before i start modding etc? i am patched to 1.4. and the game runs perfectly smooth with all gfx option to full.

Thanks, Mark.

After several months I keep it simple. Right now I have Trigger Maru (for gameplay indispensibles), Run Silent Run Deep (modifies enemy traffic, although for me not the way it's advertised), and Natural Sinking Mechanics. When I get back to port I'm going to add as much of Reflections on the Water as is compatible with NSM.

I do have some sound mods installed to give me more radio stations and a custom skin for my USS Kraken with the shark mouth from the Redfin just for lagniappe.

Enjoy the experience, Mandrake! Seems to me that the must have mods would be either Real Fleet Boat or Trigger Maru (both super mods), RoW (incorporated into TM), Run Silent Run Deep, and Natural Sinking Mechanics. This combo offers the most realism and graphical punch available, and I am forever grateful for all the hard work the modders put in. This game is really starting to shine!

Good hunting,
