You know, the way the law is, she may just get away with this lawsuit. If someone's kid wandered into my yard and fell into my pool and drowned, it would be considered my fault for not securing my pool even if the kid broke into my yard or hopped a fence. If someone were to walk on the sidewalk in front of my house trips and falls, I'm responsible. It doesn't matter if the person had permission to be there or not. It's a stuped loophole in the law. She'll especially stand an even higher chance of getting away with this lawsuit if it's being filed in California which really caters to lawsuits like this. If you get injured on someone elses property, the property owner is liable. :nope:

Not so much stranger as they are getting bitchier and more sensitive (not to mention how much they complain over the smallest of issues... but cases like this, it just comes down to them wanting money).
They'd practically sue you for stepping on their pet ant in today's society!:rotfl:

Hell of a spring on that letterbox if it severed her finger.
Let me guess.
Her finger got stuck. Instead of opening the flap a bit to free her finger she just yanked hard. Too bad her head wasn't the appendage in question.

From the looks of her pic, it seems that she likes to have her cake, and eat it too.

It's her fault for having chubby fingers. Only skinny fingers should do junk mailing.
