CO on TDY for 1 week

Ok Gentalmen, The CO is leaving on Sunday at noon for 1 week TDY. The XO will have the boat all to himself except for Torpedo Officer Leopold, CPO Tigger, Engineering Officer Which-a-way and First Mate Spookey. (In otherwords the wife is gone on a business trip for one week, and I am stuck here with the dog, and the cats :rock: )

Planning on an extended patrol during CO's absence. Therefore will need to fill all requestions prior to departing on patrol on Sunday at 1300hrs. Here's my check list. Can you guys think of any other vital supplies?:hmm:

Soda, carbonated case 3 each
Chips (Crisps for those across the pond) bag, 2 each
Bologna package, 1 each
Salami package, 1 each
bread, white (the good soft kind, not the fru fru wheat sawdust kind blech) Loaf, 1 each
visine (for eye relief during extended watch) bottle, 1 ea
cushion, chair type (for extended patrol use) 1 ea
Assorted rations, microwave type 6 ea
wings, chicken type, lb, 2 ea
Pay advance, (in case to lazy to use galley, can refit at golden arches)


Anything else?

If chips are eaten at pressures over 1.5 atmospheres you get a nasty case of indigestion. Watch compressed air usage at great depth and you'll be ok. Have a great cruise and bring back some souveniers.

A real swabbie would also have a 4 hour old coffe pot on the burner, a coffe cup that hasn't been washed in 4 weeks, a gallon of bug juice, PBJ sandwich supplies, at least one breakfast of SOS (s**t on a shingle, other wise known as chipped beef on toast), and at least one meal of donkey dicks (12 inch long fairly bland unidentifiable sausage).:arrgh!:

Make sure your soda is high in caffeine, get Jolt if you can. (All the sugar and twice the caffeine!) Do you have something to distract the pets for extended periods of time? Red light bulbs for the computer room?

Oh yeah, forgot, guess I better be histarically accurate and get cokes in glass bottles. Lots of uses...:hmm:

Head (so I dont have to leave duty station)
Medic (can use them to hold blood for blood xfusions for the wounded)
Malatov Cocktails (If I get in a real pinch, gonna be hard to explain that one to the CO when she returns)
Message delivery system (if I have to abandon ship, after explaining to the CO the above three uses)

Otherwise, I'd advise you to stock up on corn nuts...they'll keep you awake when you're feeling tired. Make sure to put them down when you're rigged for silent running though!
