In the debate on CNN Hillary has a go at Obama for using other peoples words in his speech.

At the end of the debate she says:

"You know, whatever happens, we're going to be fine. You know, we have strong support from our families and our friends. I just hope that we'll be able to say the same thing about the American people. And that's what this election should be about."

This is how Edwards closed at the end of the debate on 13 December:

"What's not at stake are any of us. All of us are going to be just fine no matter what happens in this election. But what's at stake is whether America is going to be fine."

This woman is evil personified.

Has this woman no shame?

It doesn't matter. The cold mathematics are against her. She has to win both Texas and Ohio by a 70/30 margin just to catch up in delegates. That's simply not going to happen.

Go, Obama!

Actually - I say Go Clinton! She will have no chance against McCain. Obama however will be a little tougher to beat.

To answer the OP's question, No, she has no shame. I daresay that it was the Clinton's personal corruption that made the rampant lawlessness of the present Bush admin possible by allowing the impeachment process to be politicized. To me, both the Clintons and the Bushes are the two faces of the Corporatist agenda. HRC is not a Democrat and GWB is as far from a true conservative Republican as you can get. They're both part of the same corporate/governmental nomenklatura that have run this country into the ground for the past 30 years.

Regarding Obama, he's managed to tap into the eternal American optimism and hope. That makes him, IMHO, a formidable candidate in the General election. It also makes anybody that attacks him look like a killjoy. I can only offer anecdotal evidence, but many Republicans I've talked to here in NM say they are voting for Obama if he gets the Dem nod. None offered the same opinion vis-a-vis HRC and as long as McCain campaigns on being in Iraq for 100 years, I don't give him much of a chance either.

After saying all that, though, the cynic in me expects Obama to be gunned down like JFK,RFK and MLK, the last public figures that offered hope to the people.

When I think of the public humiliation she must have felt when her randy husband got caught with his pants down, I actuallythink she portarays an element of resilience seldom seen by many of her peers.

"We're men, we're men in tights.
We roam around the forest looking for fights.
We're men, we're men in tights.
We rob from the rich and give to the poor, that's right!
We may look like sissies, but watch what you say or else we'll put out your lights!
We're men, we're men in tights,
Always on guard defending the people's rights."
