I'm a SH3 player looking to make the jump to manual targeting, and am trying to find the AoB/Targeting wheel by etchasketch, as mentioned in Wazoo's targeting tutorial.
Anybody know?
TIA

My advice to you is instead of getting the AOB wheel, go ahead and download Hitman's Kriegsmarine Whiz-Wheel. The thread is here:

This is the side of the wheel that would correspond to the wheel you reference:

It's based on what U-boat commanders actually used. Here is a picture of an actual Kriegsmarine AOB/Course wheel:

The bonus is that the backside of Hitman's wheel is the circular slide rule/"Omnimeter" that roughly corresponds to the US SACF/IS-WAS version. It wasn't present in real life, it appears the Germans used linear slide rules for their calculations, but it is *MUCH* easier to make a circular slide rule than a linear one (trust me!). Here's a pic of the backside:

There is an excellent set of instructions on how to use Hitman's wheel here:

You can use it to find AOB using a couple different methods, target course, find your distance to target track and the speed you need to get to an optimum firing position, the speed of the target in a couple different ways, and a bunch of other very useful things.

what he said, or you can use the ingame versions in the U-jagd tools mod, also found in the OLC-GUI which is a stickied thread on the SH3 mod workshop

If you have your heart set on Etchasketch's wheel, you can get it here:
