Error 1306 HELP

Hi kauliens

Broke my disc...ordered new one :cool:

New disc not same serial number as old :down:

Cant use old disc to uninstall so went to "Control Panel" "Add or Remove Programmes" Uninstall SH3"

ERROR 1603 :huh:

Now I remember this cropping up before and it being a residue of SH3 file not being removed...but dont have same"cleaner" program and not quite sure how to go about getting rid of me old files....all set for nice clean "install" with new disc

ok, go here read through the thread follow the leads,

i have had to clean uninstall 2-3 times, so good luck and dont PANIC

......something like, you have to go into programme files and delete ubisoft file and sh3 file....


dont forget your 'Registry' there is an instruction in the thread.....

Removed everything then had to download a "Windows Installer Removal" tool to take out final remains of SH3

Installed new disc, upgraded to 1.4, installed GWX 2, and after I do the "Academy" going to see if I can sink HMS Rodney in first few weeks of the war ....AGAIN lol :cool:
