I have a suggestion for noobs like me. I am trying to learn manual targeting and the identifying the target takes a while sometimes. The Photos in the manual are not much help! So I went to the "Museum" and tilted the camera down, pushed the forward arrow on the keyboard until I was at water level, they use the mouse to tilt back level. I am now looking at a side view of the ship. I then hit CTRL-F11 and took a snapshot of each. Took those into Photoshop Elements (any graphics program will work) Cropped to 7x3 and left space at the bottom for info (height, draft, speed etc) And printed it out, I got three photos on a page. This way I can examine the photos and look for specific items to look for to identify them, so in game I just need to go to the right page in the manual since I will already know what the ship is.

If you know how, you can set the info headings (height, draft, speed etc) as a separate layer and copy it, then you don't need to type on each photo, just paste the layer, change the data and flatten image, print.

Just a suggestion for beginners.

Since I'm new to this sim, I am used to asking questions, maybe this will help some, like so many have helped me.

if you hold ctrl with the mouse button you can move the camera around
with it looking in the right direction with just the mouse.
