Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Upto Be Gamers. They'll never grow up. Period. Kinda reminds me of that Star Trek next gen episode about holodeck addiction. When your on-line game life is more interesting than your real one, then of course you'll sacrifice one for the other.

Yes i wouldn't recommend this game to married couples, unless they both play it which ive met players in the game where they're husband and wife questing together. Otherwise if one plays and cannot control their limit of gameplay then plenty of split ups must happen.

I loaded up WoW around 9pm last night and went off it at 6:30am slept, woke up about an hr ago its now 4:37pm and im about to load up WoW - but im single so whos to moan about it to me.

I can go crazy sometimes with City of Heroes, but I gave myself such bad carpal tunnel syndrome with it that I really had to cut my playtime. I substituted Silent Hunter III and Dangerous Waters for it because there's no typeing involved and not a LOT of mousing around and clicking.

Between that and my music making, I spend a LOT of time in this computer/music room. My wife has never considered divorcing me over all this though *knocks wood* :D

Time to cut the internet connection! I've givien up a lot of sub playing time since I married my wife. My wife is more important than my crew:up: (They never miss me the same way my wife does!)

I've only recently quit playing MMO's like WoW and EVE Online. I was spending so much time on them it really was unhealthy. I do miss it, some fun times but its so so so very addictive! I would find myself playing it for 6 to 8 hours a day! Crazy... now I just play Falcon 4.0 and SHIII but not for the same long periods.

Okay, here's the deal.

If you were to throw away your marriage for the sake of a game, why the hell would you pick WoW? I dont understand the big appeal of it!

Look at that! That looks like someone's made people out of plasticine. Add to that the fact you've got countless numbers of morons on it that think it'll be fun to cut you down when you're just starting and loot your corpse, I really dont get why people like it so much, let alone pay what, £12 a month for it?

Pah, level 8? You've barely started the game mate...the starting areas are always crap, wait till you get to the likes of outland the game looks a lot cooler then.

See... for me, greatest feature of EVE online is the fact that you have to rely on skills you train no matter logged in or not... to put it simply, I can play and be good without sitting 24/7, and cutting down to 1-2/7 :) And I surely have enough money to not consider it a waste of payment.

On the other hand, I was long time addicted to Xwars but I realized the game was for free because all it costed me TIME.
