I bought my wife one of those stuffed Cthulhu's and those Cthulhu slippers for her birthday a few years back. :D

Lovecraft said that Cthulhu's name could never be properly pronounced since human vocal cords were inferior and incapable of matching the proper tones required. You can basically pronounce it however you want, but most people agree that the general pronounciation is the first one I mentioned in this post. Quite a curious person Lovecraft was. Still, his work has not been forgotten, unlike many other writers of his day. Ia! Cthulhu! Ia! Dagon!
