deck gun maybe brought up before

ok so ive noticed in the 5 patrols ive done in my career my deck gunners shoot at merchies instead of shooting at escorts first the obvious remedy would beto man the deck gun myself but i like going after them with 40 mm or running the TBT station is there anyway to prioritize targets i.e ones shooting vsnot shooting at you ? for the deck gun

I LOVE Deck gunning DD's. Makes me feel like a lumberjack pirate ninja.

Anyway, I avoid DDs like the plague! Hitting them with a deck gun is suicide. They're fast, accurate and perpetual. Erm, Mr. Chardok can I have your Cake mixer just in case you don't come back from patrol?:lol:

To answer the original question. I use the binoculars and select a ship then hit the button on the main task bar to order the deck gunner to hit that target.

if you select the binoculars and press space over a target ship your gun crew will attack that ship.

ok thanks for the info i know surface attacks are pretty much self defeating esp in daylight with clear and unlimited but whatdya expect from an airdale all balls lil brain on strategy jus lets go blow em to hell and count the pieces
