Was wondering what three things you can think of that would improve the immersion factor of the game?...what your top three are (ps I know it does not mean anything now but its fun none the less to see what people think):

I would say...in no order

-Wolfpacks
-Being able to decode messages (the option to)
-Captains log I can write in.

-More realistic AI
-nicer landscape ^^
-making it as realistic as it was :D

well for number one...i have gwx, but some actions of the Ai are just not very intelligent....for example: if i raise my periscope tooo high, the Ships start shooting me, but when i pull my periscope down again, they immediately stop...that makes no sence..

and better AI subs ^^

- even with GWX sh3 is till 2 easy ^^

1. Every compartment and crew member modelled in 3D
2. A more dynamic weather engine more like microsoft flight simulator
3. A more complex and interactive BDU to include changing orders, realistic deployments, and wolfpac tactics

1- A more complex and interactive BDU to include changing orders, realistic deployments, and wolfpac tactics
2- All the Compartments modelled in 3D, and the crew moveing in real-time instead of teleporting.
3- er... something... i have no idea what.

1. Have the crew grow beards as time goes on during the patrol.
2. Give the Captain's bed some functionalilty.
3. Option to be the cook for the crew - food resource management.
4. More graphical damage to the interiors.
5. Play cards with the crew
6. Have a pet rat on board

Hello out there!

Hmmm just 3 things?
Nothing against the very good of GWX 2.0 and Sh3Cmdr!!!

1.) Interaction with BDU (like some write down before: changing orders until patrol, ordering to convoy as member of a wolfpack, odering other boots to a convoy I follow up etc. etc. etc.)

2.) not to be the only one at a convoy ... where are the otherīs? why donīt the attack? and why Iīm the only one the god damned Geleitschutz try to hunt down?

3.) a war log I can write in!!! (an i can print it out!)

Tha band and the nurses are also on the quayside in Las Palma. If you ever pass that way and use the fre-cam. :p

That can be done with SH3 Commander's randomization function.

Umm...aren't you referring to the "Randomize Gramaphone Tracks" feature in SH3 Cmdr?

There is no randomize feature for the honor band's song in SH3 Cmdr and they don't use the gramaphone tracks either.

Top three things which haven't yet been done/fixed? For me...

Unpredictable torps. IRL they suffered all kinds of problems. Seems to me that IRL firing a salvo was a good idea because you increased the odds of at least one of the torps going where you told it to go and detonating at the intended time! I bet if they'd had perfectly behaved torps like we do, they'd have gotten the same kind of tonnage as we do.
Sonar passing through land. I no longer bother with port attacks thanks to this immersion killer.
AI things such as diving/surfacing AI subs, and planes that properly take off from (and land on) aircraft carriers.

1: Wolf packs
2: Better BDU
3: Complete modeled Interior with personnel (somethin like B17 2 The mighty eight)

more factors for survival and submarine handling:
--food and supplies.
--two engine management and random breakdowns when i overstress my engines (full speed for 10 days is not realistic...)
--more interaction with the Crew, and a Capitain postition in the Crew menu. (the "ME" person, instead of switching positions)
