Hello everyone,
during my many attacks on convoys, Ive found that after you have successfully attacked a convoy and evaded it's escorts and youre about to begin your end-around, it's best to save the battery recharge until you regained position on the convoy again. Order Normale Antreif(I think?) and start the endaround, that way you get all of your speed from your boat, then when youre in position, or close to it depending on how much battery charge you need, order the batteries recharge. This both saves time(especially at night) and allows you to not loose contact with the enemy.

Not sure if this helps, but I thought I'd post it anyway. Just try not to get jumped by asw assets while youre doing the endaround.
Thanks

Sure it's helpful, but it's still wise not to let your batteries be empty - electricity is life, when hunted. :88)

Good idea when your batteries are nearly fully charged. Juice in the batteries is like money in the bank. You don't want to end up bankrupt when the bill collector comes.
