This is a radiogram from my last patrol...

01:58 Radio Message
From: U-69
To: BdU
1941/06/27
Inbound convoy sighted. Course 97. Speed six knots. One ship dunk and another damaged. 15500 ton. Grid DT58.

Glad to know he's out there giving the Tommies hell!

edit: speaking of which, has any one received a radio report from your own sub?

If you've installed RadioLog_Expanded a message apearing to be sent from or to your boat # can happen from time to time. Coincidence & immersion.
And hey, Bernard's been known to dunk a few things.

Not from my own sub, but about my sub.

Apparently i failed to shuw up at a milkcow and they heard heavy depthcharging far out from their location. They presumed i was sunk by the British.

I play with U-847, an IXD2.

One ship dunk and another damaged.

I wonder what they were dinking on that ship. It must have been aweful to target with all the zig zagging.:rotfl:
They should have stayed over the wreck and tried to salvage any surviving floating crates of dinks for those Uboat dinking parties !

Iv'e had several patrol reports from U-boats that I was commanding. Even had imersion requests asking me to join in wolfpack, even though I was no-where near the interception point!
