empty bases

Does anyone else find upon sneaking into bases such as gibraltar that there is never anything there?other than whatever is gurading the entrance.

Actually, I have ALWAYS had something there when I snuck into a base. Been in all of them in England, USA, South America, and even in Gibraltar. Have gotten close enough to Alexandria and Tobruk...but have never actually gotten inside.

ive been into gibraltar and scapa flow and both were empty.is it necessery to conduct a prolonged sweep with the periscope?or should any ships there appear as soon as you raise the scope?are ships able to be seen in f12 view even when the crew havent spotted them?this is possible in the open sea as i have used f12 as a cheat view when below periscope depth.

are you playing gwX, i nearly always find a lot of harbour traffic in the stock game, but it might be different for gwX

Your operator should pick them up and report their presence as soon as they come within your hydrophone range.
If there are any ships there of course :lol:

Scapa is the only decently populated port in stock

Wonder how much smaller the files would be with NO shipping in enemy ports :hmm:
