question about planes

Hi, kaleuns!

I want to ask you about planes in GWX 2.0. Im after 15 patrol already and i saw NO PLANE YET(expect axis planes near docks):o its strange for me because in previous version of GWX i spotted a few allied planes, the same about sh3 1.4b... I am simply unlucky(maybe i should say very lucky :D) or what? Did you guys notice that too?

in the previous version GWX planes were encountered with unrealistic frequency. Their appearance has been toned down in GWX 2.0 i believe to more historical levels.

Once you get into 1943, you will experience anywhere from 1 to perhaps as much as 5 air attacks during the biscay transit... and you will probably encounter an aircraft at least once or twice per day in open sea depending on your location.

Also, at higher TC rates 512 and up you'll encounter far less planes, 128x or 256x is the way to go, slower, yes, but far more satisfying
