I've been having numerous CTD 's with SHIV. At first I thought it was only time acceleration related, as I had tried going to the bridge while at 2000x or higher and always crashed when doing so. So I have since been real careful to go back to 1x prior to going to the bridge.

Well last night I had a CTD after playing for 2 hours, I dropped the time acceleration to 1x, clicked on the bridge icon once, waited a second, clicked again and boom, CTD.

I have high graphics settings but at only 1024*768, and the sim runs smooth as silk.

Any ideas?

Just by taking a quick glance at that list, I can see that REL_Sub_Interior_fixes is redundant. It's already in TMaru 1.7.6. Also, I'm not sure if you should install the Tench before TMaru main. I'm inclined to think it should be the other way around.

Heh...good point! I'm a heavy smoker and I haven't cleaned up the fans in...months. Should add it to the to-do list

Neg, not a smoker.

Thannks all for the suggestions, I'll give it a go when I get home.

Typically there are three reasons for CTDs in SH4.

Mod conflicts
System overheating
Background programs running during the game

I don't know which ones, but i'm sure Foo has said not to use certain skins together. As a rule of thumb, I only ever have one going at one time.
