If possible, could someone send me a fresh copy of the torpedo mission file from "Submarine School"? I was playing around with the Mission Editor and completely hosed up the file!!
I was trying to switch the default sub (P-Class) to a Gato Class and add a Jap seaplane tender to the mission for an additional target. Any advice on how to do this without screwing up would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

delete the existing sub put in the p class , under unit properties do the
checkbox for player driveable.
under sea choose japan pickout the seaplane tender
put it where you want it
give everybody waypoints
if your ships arent appearing the date of the mission is likely wrong
(all ships will need coexistant dates or they will need to be changed
ie. if a ship leaves the game in 1942 it cant be in the same convoy
as a ship that enters the game in 1944 and still show up the M.E.
will likely let you put it in but the game wont spawn it. so watch
your dates.
as for the file I have it but im out of time some one else will be along
its a very small file and wont take anything to get to you.

You broke the Golden Rule! First make backup of original mission file. Then modify. You can always resort to the original by replacing the modified mission with the backed up file.

about that I generally make a back up of the full data file.
both vanilla and modded ones.
I just found out I cant get to work this evening so I have some
time now I will put it up in a few

Yeah, stupid move. Just sort of spaced it when I was talking to someone and clicked "save" (followed by "oh no, I hope I didn't just screw that file up").
