I shall tell you why I selected the name STEED. John Steed in the Avengers and New Avengers was a true English Gentlemen who held up the honor of all things British.

Well done to Patrick Macnee who was brilliant in the role of John Steed.

With all the reruns on tv lately I'd like to see the Avengers backon. Really enjoyed that series.

Great series that was! Need to see it again. Must be over 20 years for me. Cowley, Body and Doyle, Farnon and Herriot, Peel and Steed, Monthy Python: some arguments to say that maybe today TV is bad, but that it wasn't always that bad at all. I loved and will always love these series.

Saffire and Steel was one of my favourite childhood programs starring Joanna Lumley & David McCumlim (sp) about to SF detectives with certain powers. On at the same time was Doctor Who but that program kinda scared me  Those damn Dalaks! :rotfl:

Next thing you know you'll all be nostalgic for the old BBC test card. Noughts and crosses anyone? :p
