After six good patrols and one flog I get a new Balao class. Ordered to anti-shipping around Truk lagoon. One night I sneak in and find the Yamoto anchored parallel to a Fuso battleship. Very carefully I position myself bow to Yamoto and stern to Fuso. I let 'em have it. All torps gone and two battleships under our belt we sneak back out with destroyers hunting us everywhere.

Entering Midway we expect a heroes welcome and Medals of Honor. Instead we get a cup of orange juice and a Mk. 14 reload.

Should I send a letter to the War Department? :stare:

You were lucky to have juice!! We used to have to suck on a damp cloth while looking at a picture of an orange!!!
