Are there any modern Submarine Sims that have Nuclear Submarines?
It seems like most of the focus is on WWII just like the FPS market.

If you get the Naval Combat Pack here (http://www.steampowered.com/v/index.php?area=package&SubId=199&cc=US) thru Steam or here (http://www.strategyfirst.com/en/games/NavalCombatPack/) thru Strategy First, you will obtain two awesome nuc sims in 688i and Sub Command.

The follow up to those is Dangerous Waters (http://www.sonalystscombatsims.com/dangerous_waters/index.html).

Thanks for the quick reply. Looks like 2001 is the most current.

Dangerous Waters is the most current and I recommend it. It came out in 2004.

As they stated after the post above...DW is more recent. What was your rating in the submarine force?

Sub command and dangerous waters i cant fault both, dw has more unique playables, but over all sub command with SCX has more drivables including the typhoons.

personally i love both and theres so much potential.

If you buy through the subsim store, it helps support this site, at no added cost to you. :)

QM2/SS.
There's no better place to be than on the "Bridge"
in the middle of all the action telling the Captain
where he needs to go because it's my Chart.

Sub Command is fun :D

My friend has the CDs from loing ago. We teamed up with a LA Attack sub and my Akula, and blew a fishing boat out of the water with 2 seperate cruise missles coming from oppisate directions and impacting at the exact same time. Was a blast

:D I recall myself and my mate (Nagy on here IIRC) teaming up against a Russian task force, with me in a Sierra II and him in his favourite Alfa K-123. I was shadowing the force, popped up the scope to take a quick look and saw a Russkie frigate firing a missile. Immediately Emergancy Deep'd as quietly as I could and waited for the 'Ping Ping Ping Ping' which never came.
Then, I get a loud explosion message from the direction of my friend in the Alfa...
