From Australia to Auschwitz? I think that might cost a small fortune! I know the cost of living is a little lower in the land of Oz but come on, this is a little much much to ask for parents to pay for the lot!
Maybe a scheme of the school (tax payer) paying half and the childs parents paying the other half would work.
In the UK I would be very proud to see my tax going towards a project such as this...rather than The Millennium Dome (Which now it has been sold is very successful. By the way Labour government, where is my cut of the sale?)

Aint that a waste of money. Other ways to teach the kids about Auchwitz eg /books, documentary films. Maybe have weekly class lessons on the Horrors of WW2 and tell them not only what happened to the Jews but everyone that was a victim in the war. eg a good start would be Schlinders List.
I mean is your govenment okay in the head? they bring up some dum ideas:hmm: NZ's govenment is as nutty as a fruitcake your in deep trouble if Britain follows suit.
