Radar Detection

My question is regarding the various forms of radar detection as modeled in GWX (2.0 and the upcoming 2.1). As the war progresses, various types of detectors become available, from the biscay cross, to naxos to tunis. It is my understanding that the German's had to keep altering their sets to keep up with changes in Allied radar bandwidth (or something along those lines). So it would seem that Metox is the most basic, all the way up to Tunis, which is the most advanced. Does this also logically mean that if Tunis was available earlier in the war, that it would pick up the same radars as Metox PLUS all others along the way, or is it necessary to go in the proper sequence and "advance" with the Allies' radar? Sorry if this question seems confusing... if no one can make sense of it, I'll try to reword it. Thank you and good hunting, my fellow Kaleuns!! :ping:

OK, in simpler terms. Metox, the first type of rader detector we can get for our U-boats in the game (if I'm not mistaken) can only detect "early" forms of Allied radars, and will not detect them all later in the war (44 or 45). So, would this mean that if we had Tunis (the most advanced radar detector we can get for our boats) installed earlier, say in 1941, it would be able to detect everything from the earliest radar that escorts have all the way through the spectrum to the most advanced radar the Allies have late in the war in 1945?
