Remember Crisis Command (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0426344/)? I loved that show. The people on it were utter morons most of the time, however.

I'm thinking of starting a petition to bring it back, but it'll likely fall on deaf ears :shifty:

I do. :yep:

I liked the one on London flooding and they had to take a decision about a prison to let them all out, which they did. If I was on that panel I would had said there criminals stuff them. ;)

That was a great show, I wanted to go on it but I'd probably get hung by the citizens rights council :p

They should DEFINATELY bring it back!!

That sounds like an awesome show ! I wish they would bring it to the US and do it without screwing it up (virtually impossible:D ). Also, considering how rediculously sensitive about "situations" people are over here since 9/11, I would thing there would be protests.:nope:

Yea let the Zoo animals die while the criminals whoop it up, not in my book.

They don't need a panel all they need is me the mighty STEED who can cut the dead wood away.

Do you remember the one about the commercial flight that stopped communicating with the ground? Thanks to the panel pussyfooting around, it crashed into the Houses of Parliament

I remember that, I was virtually screaming at the screen for them to take it down. Then when they didn't and it hit Parliament and damaged the tube tunnel in the Thames, I was screaming at them to shut the flood doors but then they dithered and flooded the entire tube network.

:damn:

Nope.... post 9/11, a show like that wouldn't last long over here. There are WAY too many oversensitive people around here about stuff like that. I'm sure that a large demographic would freak out in the first five minutes of the show.:nope:
I however would LOVE to see or be a guest on that show !!!!
It would be very refreshing to see a reality/game show where people actually have to use their brains to do stuff. Unfortunately, I think that would be another reason it probably wouldn't do well over here. A large demographic (They're like sheep and they breed in vast numbers) over here can't handle anything on television that actually makes them think.:nope:

Maybe we should organise something like that here :hmm: There wouldnt be video, just an organiser, who invents the scenarios, then a poll for what can be done :hmm:

That sounds fun. It's kind of role playing game meets ARG.
I'd be happy to help run it too. I have over 15 years experience as a role playing gamemaster under my belt. Imagine.. me... a Dungeons & Dragons nerd... and proud of it even !:yep:

The one disater they didn't cover on that show was the conservative party coming to power. My god, that has been a national disaster every time. The last time was particularly devastating. Why don't these tv people get real??? Maggie all but killed this country and we're still living with her legacy. I think they should do another programme about 'what should we do if the tories get elected again?' I suggest the title 'duck and cover'.

I guess by temperament and nature, I'm naturally a socialist, bit of a leftie etc, but one thing experience has taught me is that politicians, of all colours, are essentially all the bloody same. :damn: Also, what's the point of a democracy when the person you vote for doesn't get it eh?
