View Full Version : My crew don't trust me

Everywhere I go in the sub, every member of the crew has their eyes fixed firmly on me, as if I were going to steal their teeth. Now granted, I did sell the first two radar sets to pay off my gambling debts, but still... I'm the captain!

Does anyone know how to stop them all eyeing me up? It's quite hard to do shots for movies when they are all staring directly at the camera.

Nisgeis.

In SH3 there was one planesman who constantly glanced over his shoulder at you. Some players complained that he was plotting against them; I took it that he was scared of screwing up, and kept looking at me hoping I wasn't about to jump down his throat.

I can't explain why they look at you all the time. Maybe they're plotting a mutiny, or maybe they're thinking "I hope he thinks I'm doing a good job!"

Anyway, WELCOME ABOARD, Nisgeis!:sunny:

There looking at you with awe.

"Gee I wish I could be like him"

Either that or they have been at sea a bit too long and starting to take a fancy towards you. :hmm:

....you get the red-eye death stare!! LOL. I've had that happen a couple of times. No pupils just red eye sockets, BRRRRRR!!:o

Yeah, I've had the no eyes and empty sockets and that's quite spooky.. not as spooky as the screenshot with eyes and hats, but no heads though - that was bizarre. The damage control man with his head in the ceiling is also a bit disturbing (probably for the helmsman too who has to look at his bum in his face) - I thihk he's meant to be repairing the conning tower to control room hatch instead.

Ah yes, and then there's the, I think the same planesman, who gestures you to be quiet. :rotfl:

I think them sailors are taking a fancy at you, too. If I were you I'd jump off the boat and take my chances with the sharks. You ain't wearin' a pink tutu are you?:rotfl:

Of course. Doesn't everyone? It goes nicely with the submarine's paint job, based on 'Operation Petticoat'.

Its because SH4 also stands for silent hill 4. And the two games are combining, so expect more haunting on the subs. :yep:

You gotta stop wearing that clown costume around the control room. That should help a bit.

My XO in SH3 was definitely puttin' from the rough, if you know what I mean. He also dressed like a member of the Village People.

Yep after 3 installs from two sources on two different computers I have never had a top side watch with eyes. Good thing I use the radar liberaly.

When I look upon my crew, I always find myself reminded of the wall-eyed character in the movie Hot Shots. :)

Not yet having experience with SH4, I get the same feeling outta SH3...wonder if the same dev didn't work on that part of both of them?
