Is this website no longer on the web? I have tried numerous times
to access the url address and it states:

Not Found The requested URL /realmain/ was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.mpgtext.net Port 80

Is anyone having this problem with the website? :damn:

I wouldnt be suprised if it was kaput, mate. I remember seeing a blogpost of somesort saying that the owner was just going to let it die due to some problems he was experiencing.

Damn good site, that, too. :nope:

Yep.

UBRS advertised & released GWX 2.0 to the public during the Subsim only 1 week donation period the GWX team & Neal had arranged. All requests to remove it were ignored.

Also, UBRS attempted to divide the GWX team by saying that a current member of the GWX Dev's had given them the files to release.

Subsequently, hackers pulled the site down.

Good riddance.

It's a shame, that former site was good, but what they did by rocking the boat was bang out of order and even if they were still up I would never go there again for what they did to GWX. Strange in some ways we got poetic justice when they got hacked.

I agree with you there Steed. I found the site quite handy when I used it a year ago but they got what they deserved as far as the GWXII scam of theirs. :yep:

Yea, I don't know what got into Terrapin. He was a good reasonable guy back in SHIII's early days and really helped the modding community out a lot. Even helped do the research on the stolen mods that Seawolves grabbed.

Whatever happened, he certainly blew his cred with the GWX 2.0 steal. Why on earth would one want to show such disdain for modders wishes and attempt to sabotage an important - and very fair - donation drive for Subsim? It was no accident or misunderstanding, either... Not cool, Martin, not cool

Not questioning 'what happened' (news to me anyway) but I'd be a little less smug with a nudge and a wink, about someone else's web site being hacked. It could give entirely the wrong impression here at subsim.
Just saying, like. :-?
