I decided it, after weeks of fighting with myself, and budget priorities. This week I will buy my copy of "Condor-the Competition Soaring Simulator".

I asked about it two months or so ago, but got no reply. In case that was just a mishap - if you know that simulator and want to save me from making a mistake with buying that thing, you need to save me NOW! :)

After VAT, the download version costs as much as the CD version, so I wait until I come near a store on Monday or Tuesday.

I let you know on what it feels like. I have high expectations regarding flight dynamics and wind/weather simulation.

Gah, forget it, too late - order put via Amazon. :D Tuesday's the day.

I got it yesterday, and since two days, I am hooked. I even stopped Steel Beasts mission designing and playing - and to get me away from SBP really takes some...

In several aspects, this is by far the best flightsim I have ever played. And I still can't see the reason why it has not become more wellknown and lives an almost completely hidden life. Almost noone seem to know it.

I will do a review-kind of essay that either here in thread form or as a separate essay will introduce you to it. If you consider yourself to be interested in flight simulations, you can't avoid this one. Concerning dynamic flight physics and modeling of weather, thermals, winds, and the experience of actually flying in real air, this is the best flight sim on the market.

See you in a couple of days! ;)
