Just took command of my first boat, the U-69, the first of the new type VIIC boats. Heading out to a shakedown cruise to prepare my crew for what is expected of them. Ordered that the embem be painted before we head out and my boys have not failed me, this (http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/8098/sh3img25120082205278kw4.jpg) will surely strike fear into the hearts of our enemy once word reaches the Home isles that the Eyeless Snowman is on the hunt.:arrgh!:
Just starting my first serious GWX 2.0 career and because i havent slept since sunday I might not be making a lot of sense.

just copy a image file in TGA format into tour sh3/data/emblems/subemblems when thats done simply run the game and choose the emblem from the usual list, it will be there by its filename

Uhm, that seems to be a feature I have missed: I can choose an emblem from a list? Never seen that, where is that?

Its at the screen where you cna get updates for your boat, the left most one, there should be a list of emblems to choose from. Anti sonar and radar coatings allso come from there if memory serves me correctly.

After a few formats and other computer related problems i can now finaly say that this career is under way, my first proper 100% realism career with ULC ui in GWx 2.0 though not in command of U-69 but U-47.

Sunk a Large Merchant flying the colours of Great Britain in grid AN2394. Fired two torpedoes, both functioned perfectly. Continuing to patrol zone.
Weather report: Wind 0 m/s light overcast, precipitation none, fog light
OOC: Damn this sinking felt good, first time using the OLC UI mod outside of a training mision and everything worked out perfectly, having a cigar and a glass of whisky to celebrate.:ping:
Ohyeah, the watch crew took a photograph of the sticken vessel as we left the area.

She sank in 12 minutes stern first on an even keel.
