hi hunters

just finished watching my x-mas present.

grey wolves: u-boats.

there are three volumes on dvd covering begining middle and end.

the narrative is informative but lacklustre. the footage makes them worth the money. some of the footage is recycled here and there, but its ok - i didnt really feel cheated.

i've never seen so much footage before, the old news reel propaganda, the life on board footage with kaleuns like engelbert endrass bandaging his crewmans arm, the music we know from this game is there too - all in all very good. there is even that bit at the begining of this game were the RADAMES sinks under.

so there is lots to see if never seen before: GET YOUR DEAUTCHMARKS OUT !!

remember, there are three dvd's...

I managed to pick all 3 up for AU$15 at a discount video stall in a local shopping mall. Great value if you ask me and not a bad series with some pretty interesting footage. You are dead right about the commentary. It's got a lot of info but the guy reading it appears to be on valium.

......and so he should be, he's probably in his late eighties now

Seriously though, a good set

If you live in the UK you can pick the set up a bit cheaper at Asda http://www.asda-entertainment.co.uk/asda/elysium.search where I purchased mine sometime ago.

EDIT The link given doesn't take you to the products as I thought it would, just search for Grey Wolves.
